Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar also known as KCET Virudhunagar was established in the year 1998. KCET courses include a total of 22 specialisation programmes in the B.E /B.Tech, ME/ M.Tech and Ph.D degree courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. For KCET admissions to the UG and PG courses TNEA, TANCET, and GATE entrance exams followed by a counselling round are accepted by the institute and a written test followed by a personal interview for doctoral courses. According to the data provided by the NIRF 2023, in the KCET placements drive 2022 about 401 students were placed with Rs 3,50,000 being offered as KCET median salary.
